![]() ![]() I noticed this while on Creating new Port on Manage port section at step 1. I understand the port has to be reachable for FileZilla to work! So the question is what I am doing wrong because I am really stuck now. NB: On my router GLiNet Admin Portal I went to firewall section and o n Port Forwarding section added a new port both internal and external port were the same as the one assigned on step. I went further and added a new inbound rule to allow incoming connection on the specified port assigned at step 1, repeated step 2 and got the same error. Another route would be setting up a VPN, but again, that also depends on how your proxy works. Save the file and restart OpenSSH: sudo systemctl restart ssh That’s not the best option but it’s the quickest and easiest to set up. To try and solve it further I thought it must be the firewall blocking the incoming connection, I turned the firewall off but still the error on step 2 persisted, same thing for the windows anti-virusĥ. Open /etc/ssh/sshdconfig in a text editor Uncomment the line Port 22 by deleting the and replace 22 with 443. To try to fix that I installed the recommended listening server on the docs iPerf3 cd into the folder and then run the server by iperf3.exe -s -p assigned_port_here_on_step_one repeated step 2 but still got the same errorĤ. Then went on to port forwarding test section here, entered the port I was assigned on step 1 but I got this error Port is unreachable.ģ. Always getting ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server.ġ.I logged to my Mullvad Account Went to manage ports And Added a new Port by Selecting My Connected City on the server and selected No key (only OpenVPN) as that is my current configuration.Ģ. So I am currently setting up an FTP server(FileZilla Server) that I want to be able to access remotely from an external network, but it's not working. ![]()
